Ways to get paid selling on Smash-Tix

The way we pay you for ticket sales depends on where you live and where the event is. See our payment timelines for when to expect your payment.

When listing and at the 'Set your price' page, use the dropdown menu under 'Payment method' to choose your payment type.

You live in the United States and are selling tickets...

• United States events: We'll pay you through direct deposit or PayPal (or you can donate to charity)
  • Direct deposit: After listing the tickets, go to 'Profile' > 'Settings' > 'Payments.' Under 'Payment options for selling tickets,' enter your bank routing and account number
  • PayPal: Enter the email address for your PayPal account. Click the pencil to change it.
  • Donate: Pick one of the 6 available charities to donate your payout. You'll get a receipt from the charity you choose.
  • Credit My Team Account: This is an option if you list tickets for an integrated partner through a season ticket account. 

• Canada events: We'll pay you through PayPal, but you must set up a Canadian wallet in your account:
  1. Log into your PayPal account
  2. Click 'Wallet' at the top
  3. Click 'PayPal Balance' and then 'Manage Currencies' at the bottom (If you don't have a PayPal balance, you won't see the 'Manage Currencies' option)
  4. Click 'Add a Currency'
  5. Select the desired currency and click 'Add a Currency'
     
     Converting PayPal Cash or PayPal Cash Plus to another currency

1. Log into your PayPal account on a desktop
2. Click 'Wallet'
3. Click the three dots to the right of the currency you want to convert to (if you’ve already added the new currency to your account)
4. Select 'Convert currency'
5. Enter the dollar amount you want to convert and click 'Next'
6. Review the conversion amounts and select 'Convert'

You live in Canada and are selling tickets...

• Canada events: We'll pay you through PayPal or CA direct deposit
  • PayPal: Enter the email address for your PayPal account. If an address is already there and you need to change it, click the pencil and type in the updated address.
  • CA direct deposit: After listing the tickets, go to 'Profile' > 'Settings' > 'Payments.' Under 'Payment options for selling tickets,' enter a Canada direct deposit enrollment with a bank location in Canada.
• United States events: We'll pay you through PayPal. Enter the email address for your PayPal account, and click the pencil to change it.
